Our Vision
School Board Member Alliance of Virginia, SBMA, is a 501(c)(3), non-partisan, association that empowers school board members by providing the resources and tools necessary to best serve their communities. Unlike other organizations, SBMA's vision is to provide individual memberships for school board members (past and present) and school board candidates (past and present).
Our Mission
The mission of SBMA is to promote high quality school board governance training focused on delivering excellence in education that best meets the needs of individual students. Our trainings will focus on common sense policies, parental rights, school choice, transparent governance, and fiscal responsibility.
